This Dornier single-seat fighter/bomber was powered by a single Juno 213J 12 cylinder piston engine, located within the fuselage aft of the cockpit. The engine was fed by air inducts located in the wing roots, and the pusher prop was connected to the engine by a long extension shaft. The wing was swept back 28 degrees and had slight dihedral. The tail unit is of a cruciform design, and the lower stabilizer is long enough to afford the propeller some protection on take-off. There were three MK 108 30mm cannon located in the nose.
