This Dornier design was developed from the Do 335 as a fighter, fighter/bomber
and nightfighter. The navigator sat in the rear fuselage facing aft. Two
He S 011 jet engines were mounted beneath the wings, and a standard tricycle
undercarriage was utilized. Two 500 kg (1100 lb) bombs could be carried,
and four MK 108 30mm cannon were located in the nose.
